DA MYTH REPRISE DIFFERENTLY

It was an early morning of spring season. Blue sky, down there on earth there was a house of Robin. Robin was watching Cartoon Network on T.V. as it was Sunday. Robin is a name of little sweet-looking, cute, cuddly, furry rabbit. He is white in color. Like snow, his fur was very soft like snowflakes. His eyes are crystal red in color. His nose is pink in color like candy. He got 2 Floppy big ears one of which is down which show he is very polite and lovable and another one always stood up showing his attentiveness and alertness. Robin is very bright, sharp, studious, clever, adventurous, fun-loving, smart bunny.

So as we were inside his home where Robin sitting on couch in his Living room watching Cartoon Network… Robin suddenly gets little bit angry and depressed because of Cartoon on TV he feel embarrassed so he decided to change the channel and TUC! As he press the button of remote to change the channel his eyebrows get dug more deeper and he gets more angry because by coincidence it’s the telecast of same cartoon there also …STRANGE … but this time he throw the remote away on the ground and stood up from the couch angrily with some tears of embarrassment and rush towards his room which is on 1^st floor. So he ran through the stairs, but his mom saw all this and she go behind him after few minutes with Robin’s favorite dish … CARROT’S CAKE …As she about to knock the door of Robin’s room she heard some sound … she try to listen it clearly so she put her ears on door to listen and hear the sound of Robin’s Sob … she knocked the door but no reply from inside … So she softly turn the knob to open the door and enter quietly…

The room was having little light coming from window which was covered with curtain and little lampshade Her mother give a quick sight in room with searching eyes…Robin room was full of his toys, posters on wall, Glass door Cupboard with Shields and books in it, medals hanging on the wall, collage photos of Robin’s school picnic and curricular awards, after having quick sight of room mother see Robin sitting in corner of room on his study table in dim dark room with his study table lamp on… Her mother Move the curtain aside so bright sunlight come from window into room and moves towards Robin where Robin was swiping his tears as he got that his mom enter. His mother comes near him from behind and she saw an old newspaper cutting in Robin’s hand and she come to know what make Robin so much upset. Her mother place a bowl of carrot cake on side of table and place her palm on Robin’s head and gently move her hand on robin’s fur and say-

“Robin you are brave boy, you are clever, enthusiastic, adventurous, smart and good in studies like your father. But see it’s not like that if you have good quality like your father then you see the same things what your father saw in his time may be you see worst more then it or may be best days than him. So, it’s in your hand what you choose!!!”

Robin understood the intentions of his mother ….

That very day in evening he bought bunch of big rolled paper, geometry set, graph papers and stop-watch. He worked on the things for 2 days continuously with 3 hrs. Sleep a day and come out from room just for food … rest all 2 days he was busy with his work, making graphs, calculations and logics. After 2 days he opens the door with BANG and cheerfully shouting pop out from his room hopping. His mother sees and gives him a smile. Robin jumped from the staircase near her mom and says happily-

“I GOT IT. Got the rectifications. Got the solution mom.”

After hearing this mom gets happy and feels proud of him and tears of happiness rolled out from her eyes and she say- “REALLY!” Robin nods his head in affirmatively. Robin’s mother gives him a tight hug and being in her arms Robin says mom but I have problem I need someone for this task who helped me change the MYTH and prove me right.

Robin’s mother say – “Don’t worry you will get someone you worked so hard for this you definitely get success.”

In evening Robin was sitting under tree making some calculations on ground with a stick in his hand he was so much in it he don’t know who’s around. Suddenly he got smacked on head… and as he turns he saw TIM his elder cousin brother. Tim is big bully bunny, he is double in size of Robin, he’s huge in size with blue furious eyes, big teeth, big muscular athletic body and little fur but he is little dumb. Tim come near Robin and said what are you doing here you looser, your family from beginning put us and all the species of rabbits in shame forever, and that wasn’t enough then your father done it again and reprises 100 years old things and again repeats the things and bring shame to rabbits. And TIM again smacked on ROBIN’s head bullyingly. Although the hand by TIM was hard this time for Robin. But he stroked with some idea in his head with that smack on head. “HE NEED SOMEONE TO PROVE HIM RIGHT,AND HIS STUDY’. So, Robin turns to TIM with sad, loosing face and said-

“ I know it’s my great great great great (4X) Fore grandfather mistake and after that my father’s mistake who repeat it to change the things but again failed like ancestor. So, I totally agree with you, but Brother TIM…. “

As Robin used word BROTHER to TIM … Tim bend to Robin and said angrily –

“LISTEN PIPSQUEAK I’m not your brother just nail this in your nut size mind…so don’t call me your brother got it you looser”.

So, Robin nods his head in affirmative gesture and say politely-

“Ok but I just want to say something for your profit … but it’s ok if you’re not interested to listen about some quick bucks…”

And Robin turned and waits for Tim’s call and as he turned 1...2...3...4...

Tim says with smiling face –

Tim: Hey Bro Robin you was saying something … something I heard you said profit…. Quick bucks…

Robin: No its OK! Leave it!

Tim: Please tell brother I’m with you

(Robin turns to Tim and said in bossy tone)

Robin: You have to follow my instruction and do what I tell you and ill give you money and don’t ask me question what, why and when.

Tim: O.K.

(in hypnotized manner, Tim was sitting like a little pup on 2 feet and with crazy looking face tongue out from side and $$ sign on eyes)

Tim start dreaming a car, then long drive with his Bunny Girlfriend but

“OUCH” Tim shouted and starts rubbing his bumps and he saw Robin standing there with needle.

Robin: Come out from your car and stop dreaming.

Tim (Amazed): how you know that?

Robin: I can see what you dreaming in your Dream Cloud. Thanks to Story teller he let me see that: P

MISSION DAY 1:

Early morning next day Robin in trainer clothes with cap and stop watch on neck dwell Tim in hardcore exercise. Tim in Army trousers, black vest, forehead band and paint face like Rambo. Tim with his stop watch counting on 81,82,83,84...85, 86 and here come our Tim in sweaty face up… Tim was doing Push-ups … come on faster time recorded 00:00:30:10. Tim who returned from 2 kms. Run smiled hearing his time record.

So, like this 10 days passed now Robin is blindly confident about Tim but somewhere he was in his heart and soul he said to him “I’M DOING IT WRONG”. So, Robin decided to tell everything truly to TIM.so he go to Tim who was swiping his body with towel because of exercise he was wet with sweat and very anxious about tomorrows competition but Robin says-

Robin: Hi Brother! You done a tremendous job..

Tim: Thanks bro!

Robin: But…

Tim: But What if you have any feedback give me you are coach…my brother he he he he

Robin: No it’s something else…I want to confess something to you…

(Tim gives him buck up punch on arms as he is proud to be Robin’s brother and said- )

Tim: What happen tell me I know you wanna cheer me for tomorrow tournament and I know what you wanna confess it’s you love me isn’t it Robin…and don’t worry about tomorrow’s race with that Rich Bunny Dad Son Rex.

(Robin stood there quietly and turns head down and nod his head in shame but Tim doesn’t understood that and continue with his talk and say-)

Tim: Robin don’t worry bro I’ll kick his ass in any way you don’t worry we’ll win and we will be winner and be rich with winning amount of US$20,000.

But Robin didn’t utter a single word and his eyes start getting wet and in seconds he start shedding tears…seeing Tears in eyes of Robin Tim get surprised and ask –

Tim: what happen brother… why are you crying … does Rex refused to race… or does he refuse to give wining amount of $20,000 or did he said anything to you my little brother….

Hearing the last sentence of Tim … Robin move his face up and his eyes towards the quizzed eyes of Tim and robin cling and hug Tim tightly. Tim feel awkward because he never had this moment in his life … nor he ever hugged by robin ever and he never even hugged him or even ever thought of doing that and moreover he was shocked why robin is crying and hugged him. Tim got sentimental because of demand of moment and leaves his questioned mind aside and enjoys the hug from his brother Robin. After few minutes being in arms of each other he ask-

Tim: What happen little bro, why are you crying … tell me I’ll fix it up…

Robin replies mildly: I’m sorry brother…

Tim: Why … For what?

Robin: …Because I lied to you…. There was no racing between you and Rex.

(Tim shockingly move behind loosening him from the grip of Robin and say-)

Tim: What do you mean by that statement?

Robin: …Actually from my birth, I’m hearing the old bloody story of Slow Tortoise who defeats Rabbit who are faster than him … and more embarrassing is it was my (4XGreat) Fore grandfather and then my father when he was young he also lost the match because he slept in mid of race but before race tortoise fool my dad politely and drug him and won the race. So…

Tim (interrupting Robin: So, what …?

Robin: So, I thought you are the cousin grandson too of my 4X fore grandfather. You are my cousin and moreover you are rabbit too. So, I was sure little bit of practice and proper guidance will make you perfect racer and you can change that story’s end… and reprises the myth differently… so, I just challenged tortoise and fixed up your race with him.

Tim turned angrily

Tim: I’m not in this I don’t wanna be part of this game of fortune (loser’s) and embarrass myself , my family, species of rabbit and my coming generations like your fore grandfather’s and father with the tag of shame anymore and I’m leaving ….I’m not in all this crap … you go and race yourself you are indigenous, smart…

Robin: But I’m not….

Tim: …Not what?

Robin: I’m not you

Tim: what do you mean by that?

Robin: I’m …

Tim: I’m what damn it?

Robin: I’m having Asthma … (and he looked up towards Tim)

Tim was surprised with it but he say angrily –

Tim: whatever it is …. It’s your problem not mine. I trust you and you cheated me so go to hell.

And Tim leaves from there …

Next day –

(Race Venue)

Full of both species of Rabbits & Tortoise and other animals too as it’s a big event of century again. The epic have another day to get change. So, everybody was seeking what it is all about and was eager to know what this competition is all about. Because the event was organized in suspicious and surprised manner by media…Only friends and family of competitor only know what it’s all about and it’s a race of fortune, changing myth and race of century. But other spectator at venue was curious to know about what it’s all about and suddenly mike friends enter the venue with cheering. Mike is big tortoise stubborn, evil, strong and son of business tycoon’s TANG son. And as they enter in venue with shout some people got that it must be race between tortoise and rabbit. That is between Mike and some rabbit but they were eager to know who the bunny as opponent of mike is. Suddenly Robin comes up with microphone and say hello everybody thanks to coming here and give your valuable time but I’m sorry friends the race is terminated and hearing this pin drop silence surround the venue for a while and then Mike, his family and friends start laughing shouting and boasting and after seconds of that spectator start BOOING on Robin and start throwing props on Robin and on all other rabbits. Robin tries to make spectator understand everything but everybody was making fun of him and other rabbits. Rabbit spectators there seek way to go out from the venue but another voice from Robin silent make them stick to their seats and silent whole venue again.

Robin: I’ll race with Mike ….

Hearing this tortoise, Mike, his family and friends shut up and sit on their seats and rabbits start shouting with happiness and cheering up but they weren’t sure that this little nerd looking rabbit can make it up or not the race with that big time winner’s son Mike in race. Because whenever Robin’s family member tried to do so they always have a big defeat rather than success. But still rabbit and other spectator sit there to know what going to happen, but still there were some rabbits and animals for support, some for trust, some for big match, some for curiosity to know as it’s game of century, some for entertainment and some because other were there so they were there. But somewhere in there who were there worried for their son. They are Robin’s mother and father who is in wheelchair who lost his legs in an incident which we are unaware of. Robin’s parents and come fast towards robin and her mother crying badly and say to robin-

Robin’s Mother: What are you up to my son? Why are you doing this? You can’t do this? You know very well if you race you can get severe Asthma attack anytime and … and moreover you don’t know how evils are tortoise and specially Mr. Tang and his son Mike. They can do anything ….

Robin: but I can’t live my life like this I don’t know what will happen but I want to take a stand … although after that if I’ll lose ill live with it but can’t live with a tag of Loser without competition…

Robin’s mother: But you don’t know tortoise goes to any extinct … I don’t want to lose you my child…

Robin (Surprisingly): what do you mean by that mom? Do you want to say like they drug me as they gave dad before match and all?

Robin’s mother (Worrying): How I explain you Robin… but please don’t do this… stop this here… this very moment …I will live with shame that my son quit and ran away but can’t live if anything happen to you… I can’t live without you..

As Robin’s mother trying to convince Robin…

Robin’s father comes from behind on wheelchair and say

Robin’s dad: Robin my boy I’m sure you have a capacity to go far from your disabilities and win this race because you are like me when I was at your age. I had the same feeling like you have, same courage, but I want to tell you something before anything no matter you win or lost but give it your best shot of your life. I’m always be with you in your ups and downs of your life, and before you choose anything I want you to know one thing that I lost my leg because of TANG! Father of Mike with whom you about to race …

Robin (Shockingly): What? But you told me they drug you to win the race...

Robin’s dad: …That wasn’t alone my son

(Flash back): On that day when I was returning home from venue with shame of losing. Tang with his friend in his car chased me and caught me on half way and start bullying me. They were making fun of me … but then my brother Jerry (father of Tim) passed on other side of road on his cycle and saw me in trouble but he didn’t turned to me he stood there and stare me with stranger look and gave me disgusting look but till I could understand anything Tang gave a hit with his baseball bat on my head… I fell down and then Tang and his friends started beating me with their baseball, kicking and punches. That how I dare to challenge the rich & strong Tang and they break my cycle they beat me badly and leave me with half breathe of life but this wasn’t enough they end with their car pass through my legs and they went …. Seeing them going … their back portion of car … I fainted and went unconscious…and when I open my eyes I was in hospital I found myself in the state which you can see me now on WHEELCHAIR… but Robin you know then who took me to hospital…

Robin (With Tears and In-confident tone): hmmmmmm … MOM?

Robin’s dad: No

Robin (Shockingly): Then …?

Robin’s dad: Your Uncle Tim’s Dad JERRY. He then apologized to me and cried and said he never knew it end like this otherwise he came between Fight. Hearing this Robin’s mother and Robin and people around get tears in their eyes…

Suddenly there was a voice come back from them -

But I don’t want to realize late my brother like my father… it was Tim’s voice…

Tim (Continues): …Sorry I was afraid of losing but now I knows it our dedication and believe on self and it’s In your blood Robin the quality of winning without thinking about result or problems on way. You are born winner…because you have such an awesome family. Now let me finish my dad’s incomplete work to help your dad by giving his dream.

But Robin says in mature tone swiping his tears to Tim,

Robin: Thank you Brother to take a stand, it will count every day and every moment of my life forever but it’s my revenge and my childhood dream to reprises da myth and change the end. So, let me go on this track alone…

Tim: So, it means your dad forgave my dad but you didn’t forgive my dad or me. I know I was bad with you from childhood and then come close and then left you with this situation, but if you forgave me then please let me do this you remember you only said I’m also a (4Xgreat) fore grandson of grandfather and your brother… so, your dad is like my dad and after hearing all this I respect him more…so please give me one chance and let me do pleaseeeeeeeeeee….

And TIM convince ROBIN

New Announcement comes which runs among spectator like Thunder Strike and every rabbits start shout proudly when TIM was introduce as new opponent against MIKE. Now everybody gets confident that it’s Tim call… he’ll be winner. But this cheer and happiness aren’t for Tortoise this wasn’t good news for them and especially for Mike and his family & Friends and moreover for his father TANG. As they aware TIM is big bunny and all time athlete & they’ll lose the game but Mr. Tang father of Mike still have plan in his evil brain…He look to his man and signaled him for something …. His man smiled and leaves.

The race between Mike and Tim begins everybody in venue shouting and cheering with happiness but rabbits seems happier because they knew this is a race which might seriously change the history… DA MYTH…but as race start of 2 kms …. In 0.5 kms Tim start feeling dizzy he shake his head and as he look side of track he saw TANG’s man with his Protein Shake Sipper on hand and a bottle of some drug on another hand. Seeing that Tim got that they again played cruel game with old policy.

Tim prayed to god and look to Robin who happily watching Tim cheerfully with lots of hope. Tim set his eyes on track and start running madly towards goal and fall down unconsciously on finishing line and…

(Voice of ambulance siren and relatives slowly comes to ear of Tim)

Slowly he come to little conscious and open eyes and see nurses, doctors, friends, family and Robin was running with the stretcher on which he was lying. He looks up to the big White tube lights on ceiling soon it gets blur and white light of tube light increase and spread all over and Tim went unconscious.

After Few Hours….

Tim opened his eyes and saw Robin standing aside his bed. Tim ask Robin –

Tim: Did we win?

Robin face turned sad and drop his head down. So, Tim asks him again with effort … But Robin didn’t said anything. And move his hand towards Tim and give him a Key. Tim puzzled look Robin … and Robin shouted –

Robin: Yes bro we made it and this is a key of your New Car which is gifted by

Superstar

BUGS BUNNY

Robin Place his cellphone to Tim where there was a video message from Bugs Bunny :-

Hey Waddsup Doc? Hey dude you made all the bunnies proud

So all my good wishes are with you and I or any bunny can’t repay your deed forever what you did for us. But I’m sending my small signature bugs bunny car to you as small reward from me and all my walt Disney, m.g.m and Hollywood friends.

After this message Tim hug Robin and say – “It couldn’t be done without you my little brother, what I’m famous right now is all because of you. You are the real bunny to whom all credits goes to … and their tears rolled from eyes to cheek to each other shoulder… and from the glass of door outside room their parents watching them and that wasn’t it behind them was a huge crowd of Bunnies and media persons from across the world.

All the radios, newspapers and televisions of world was full of News about Robin and Tim and their extra-ordinary belief to change the myth and old stories and prove themselves.

And same on another hand headlines with a story of Multi-Billionaire Business Tycoon Tang and his son Mike’s doomsday and coverage story of them in Prison alleging of giving Drugs to Robin’s father and his legs and poisoning
